World Cup Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Gamblor Gaming Technologies Ltd of 21 Beaton Drive, Winchburgh, EH52 6FS, UK. ("Promoter")

  1. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

  • Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agencies, or immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

  • Proof of age and eligibility may be required.

  1. How to Enter

  • To enter, participants must download and open an account on the Squad Bets app and take part in any Fixture Predictor (FP), Fantasy Challenge (FC) or Match Builders (MB) game that starts during the Qualifying Competition.

  • Any Squad or Public FP, FC or MB game entered will count as an entry to the competition.

  1. Qualifying Competition

  • The Qualifying Competition will run from 17th January 2026 to 19th May 2025

  • The Qualifying Competition entry period runs up until 15 minutes prior to the first kick off in the penultimate English Premier League Gameweek of the 2025/26 season.

  • At the end of the Qualifying Competition, the 4 users (plus ties) with the highest individual Gameweek scores in each of FP, FC and MB will qualify for the Champions Decider.

  • The users with the highest indidual Gameweek scores in each of FP, MB and FC will receive a 25 point head-start for the Champions Decider.

  • If a participant has the highest individual Gameweek score in multiple game types, then they will be awarded the same number of corresponding entries into the Champions Decider. For Example:

    • A participant has the highest individual Gameweek score in both FP and FC.

    • This participant will be awarded 2 entries to the Champions Decider, each with a 25 point head-start.

  1. Champions Decider

  • The Champions Decider will take place on the weekend of Saturday 24th May 2026, i.e. the final Gameweek of the 2025/26 English Premier League season.

  • The Champions Decider will be a one-off Fixture Predictor game, comprising of the fixtures in the final Gameweek of the 2025/26 English Premier League season.

  1. The Prize

  • The Prize is a trip to the 2026 World Cup which constitutes of the following:

    • 2 x return flights

    • 1 x hotel room for 2 nights

    • 2 x tickets for a Home Nation group stage match. The match will be determined by which Home Nation the winner supports/wants to see.

    • Plus up to $500 expenses

  • No alternative prize or cash equivalent will be offered. The Prize is non-transferable.

  1. Winner Selection

  • The qualifying participant with the highest score in the Champions Decider will be crowned the Champion and win the World Cup prize.

  • In the highly unlikely event that the Champions Decider ends in a dead heat after the Tiebreaker is applied, the overall winner will be drawn by lots between the tied participants.

  • The Promoter's decision regarding winner selection is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

  1. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the competition closing date.

  • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner.

  1. Publicity

  • By entering, participants agree that their name and/or social media handle may be used by the Promoter for the purpose of announcing the winner and in related promotional materials.

  • The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity associated with the competition.

  1. Data Protection

  • Any personal data supplied in connection with the competition will be processed in accordance with the Promoters privacy policy, available here.

  • Personal data will be used solely for the administration of this competition unless explicit consent has been given for other purposes.

11. General Terms

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

  • The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused as a result of participating in the competition or accepting the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), X (Twitter), TikTok, or any other social media platform.

12. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. Disclaimer

  • In the event that Squad Bets does have 1,000 signed up users by the end of the Champion's Decider, The Prize will be reduced to £1,000 for the winner.
